Paul Hastings Advises Government of Jamaica in Connection With the Securitization of Revenues From the Montego Bay Airport
August 18, 2025
Paul Hastings LLP advised the Government of Jamaica and Montego Bay Airport Revenue Finance Limited on the securitization of Jamaica's rights to a portion of the revenues of the Montego Bay airport via Montego Bay Airport Revenue Finance Limited's $400 million 6.600% senior secured notes due 2035. The proceeds of the bond will be used partially to help refinance Jamaica's indebtedness and fund infrastructure projects.
Paul Hastings previously advised Jamaica on the securitization of its rights to a portion of Kingston airport’s revenues, which represented a novel financing structure for a government’s airport revenues.
Partner Alex Herman led the Paul Hastings team, which included partner Thomas Sines and associates Anna Barbosa and Gabriella Jassir.
