Dong Chul Kim Appointed Chair of Paul Hastings’ Seoul Office

Seoul – Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, announced today that Mr. Dong Chul Kim will succeed Litigation partner Jong Han Kim as Seoul’s Office Chair from January 1, 2021. Mr. Jong Han Kim will transfer to the firm’s Los Angeles office where he will continue to represent Korean and U.S. clients in cross-border litigation.

Paul Hastings has submitted the required application to the Korean Bar Association and is currently waiting for its approval to confirm Mr. Dong Chul Kim as the Chief Representative of Paul Hastings Seoul Office. Since joining Paul Hastings’ Seoul office in 2012, Mr. Dong Chul Kim has specialized in capital market transactions and represented many prominent Korean corporations and international investment banks including Samsung Electronics, Lotte Chemical, Hanwha Systems, Korea Investment Corp., Citigroup and Morgan Stanley. He practices in the fields of capital market transactions and mergers and acquisitions, as well as international dispute and compliance matters.
