AmCham Shanghai: Trends and Developments in Major IPO Markets for Chinese Companies

Paul Hastings corporate partner Steven Winegar and others experts in the financial and legal industries and representatives from Chinese companies, including Don S. Williams, partner at Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton, Jing Qian, managing director and co-head of China Investment at Deutsche Bank, will compare two of the strongest and most attractive IPO markets, Hong Kong and the U.S., as well as discuss the potential for re-opening of the domestic listing market.

Paul Keung, CFO and Executive Vice President at Taomee Entertainment will share his personal company experience on the IPOs. Panel discussions will be moderated by Ker Gibbs, executive director, BW Ventures, and Chair of the Financial Services Committee. The first panel will examine Hong Kong and U.S. markets as listing locations, with a focus on issues including corporate governance, market and investor attractiveness and suitability. In the second panel, recently listed Chinese companies will share their experiences and advice on how to prepare and navigate an international listing.
