Investment in the U.S. Real Estate Markets

Monday, October 14 2:00 PM BST to 3:00 PM BST

Asian investors are increasingly drawn to the healthy growth prospects of the U.S. real estate market. Korean institutional investors, in particular, are gradually becoming major players in the region. According to Jones Lang LaSalle research, South Koreans have purchased over US$5 billion worth of commercial property outside of Korea since January 2013, and about 50% of its assets have been invested into the U.S. real estate markets.

U.S.-based Real Estate partners Philip Feder (chair of the Paul Hastings Global Real Estate Practice) and Rick Kirkbride (chair of the Paul Hastings Global Resort, Restaurant and Recreation Practice) will discuss these market developments and opportunities they have advised on for Korean investors with significant exposure to the U.S. real estate market.

The seminar will address:- current trends and opportunities for real estate investment in the U.S.;- major tax issues for non-U.S. investors; and- real estate investments and visas for non-U.S. investors.

This session is a part of our client training program, open to our selected clients and professional friends. If you wish to attend the seminar, please RSVP.Please note we have limited space for the seminar and will accept registrations on a first-come-first-served basis.CONTACTDavid Kimdavidkim@paulhastings.com+82.2.6321.3809
