This year's gala event will honor Katherine Acey, Executive Director of Astraea Lesbian Foundation for Justice, for her philanthropic work to further the civil rights of LGBT people and people living with HIV, and Microsoft for becoming one of the first Fortune 500 companies to offer domestic partner benefits, add gender identity and sexual orientation to their nondiscrimination policy and continue to serve as a role model for corporate diversity.
