On February 10, partner Tara Giunta, Vice Chair of the firm’s Investigations and White Collar Defense practice, will participate in an expert panel discussion on ESG Risks, Opportunities and Challenges as part of a morning speaker series of the Arthur and Toni Rembe Rock Center for Corporate Governance, a joint initiative of Stanford Law School and Stanford Graduate School of Business. Given ESG as a key indicator of corporate performance and resilience, the panel will address the growing focus on ESG risks and opportunities, evaluating a company’s ESG health, assessing ESG in the context of M&A, and integrating findings into strategy, valuation and integration. Ms. Giunta will be joined by panelists Heidi DuBois, Vice President and Head of ESG at Edelman; Jill Simeone, Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary at Etsy; and Maryann Waryjas, Strategic Advisory Board Member of Morrow Sodali.
