The Deal's The Growing Map of Middle-Market Cross-Border Deals
The map of midmarket dealmaking has spread beyond its domestic borders. Cross-border midmarket deals have extended in their geographic scope as the world has become smaller and growing economies outside the U.S. have provided interesting investment opportunities. According to Thompson Financial and Deloitte U.S. Corporate Finance, total U.S. outbound middle-market deals reached $32.9 billion in 2010, of which 35% landed in Europe.
Join The Deal and its expert panel in a discussion of where the action is for middle-market cross-border dealmaking and what buyers and sellers need to evaluate when making a deal outside their borders. We'll look at how midmarket firms source their opportunities abroad and manage their due diligence process on cross-border deals compared to large-cap acquirers and sellers.
Paul Hastings partner Teri O'Brien is a featured panelist for this session.
