The new deal for the French restructuring market: more effective than the UK/US model?
EY, Paul Hastings, and Rothschild, in the presence of Mr. Frank Gentin, President of the Commercial Court of Paris, are pleased to invite you to a breakfast/debate on Tuesday, 31 March 2015 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on the theme:The new deal for the French restructuring market: more effective than the UK/US model?
Contrary to what people may think on the other side of the Channel, the pragmatic approach of specialized players has made possible relevant treatment of companies experiencing a restructuring or reorganization in France. Has new legislation henceforth created an environment that is more hospitable to preserving companies, while, at the same time, providing new opportunities for investors and creditors?
The conference will be followed by a debate which will be conducted by:
Guillaume Cornu, Partner in charge of Transaction Advisory Services and Restructuring at EY
Frank Gentin, President of the Commercial Court of Paris
Arnaud Joubert, Managing Director of Rothschild specializing in restructurings
Gauthier Reymondier, Managing Partner of Sankaty
Lionel Spizzichino, Partner responsible for the Restructuring Department at Paul Hastings
Meeting starts at 8:00 a.m. at the Centre de Conférences Capital 8, 32 rue de Monceau – 75008 Paris. Breakfast will be offered. The conference will begin precisely at 8:30 a.m.
