Webinar: Preventing Corruption: What Can be Done to Avoid a Criminal Case

On May 14, partners Jonathan Drimmer and Tom Best will join Abreu Advogados, a leading Portuguese law firm, to discuss the wider phenomenon of cross-border corruption and the United States’ and Portuguese-speaking countries’ efforts to combat it. Discussion will cover prominent U.S. and non-U.S. cases, drawing on the experience of both firms in the U.S. and in Portuguese speaking countries around the world. Topics will include the prevention of corruption: avoiding criminal cases, focusing the challenges to effectiveness and practical implementation in Portugal and African Portuguese-speaking countries.
