There are currently more devices connected to the Internet than there are people in the world. “Smart” devices now range from self-driving cars to pacemakers to smart toasters. With this burgeoning “Internet of Things” comes a new set of consumer privacy and security issues, which were discussed in-depth at a recent FTC workshop on November 19, 2013.
