USCIS to Accept Adjustment of Status Applications Filed Not Later than August 17, 2007
USCIS announced today that it will accept employment-based adjustment of status applications filed through August 17 by foreign nationals whose priority dates are current under the July Visa Bulletin issued June 12. (The State Department published today its August 2007 Visa Bulletin, which withdraws the July Visa Bulletin issued July 2 and reinstates the July Visa Bulletin dated June 12. This Visa Bulletin indicated that all employment-based preference categories are current for the month of July.) The USCIS press release is attached.
The current fee schedule will apply to all adjustment of status applications submitted through August 17, 2007. (The new fee schedule that becomes effective July 30 will apply to all other applications.)
