Major Changes Proposed to New York State Brownfield Law

On June 5, 2007 Governor Eliot Spitzer proposed significant legislative changes to the tax credit structure of New York State’s Brownfield Cleanup Program (BCP) in an effort to shift the focus of the incentives from development-based to cleanup-based credits.
