SEC Adopts New Mutual Fund Redemption Fee Rule

On March 11, 2005, the SEC adopted new Investment Company Act Rule 22c-2, which requires fund boards of directors to consider whether or not to impose a redemption fee of up to 2% for certain short term redemptions.
