SEC Re-Adopts Controversial Fund Governance Rule

On June 21, 2005, the United States Court of Appeals, District of Columbia Circuit, in a lawsuit brought by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce challenging the SEC’s adoption of what are known as “the mutual fund governance rules", ordered the SEC to reconsider certain provisions of the Rule.
