Milan, Italy (December 22, 2005) – Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP (“Paul Hastings”), a leading international law firm, represented Rome-based Alitalia in the US$445 million refinancing of the company.
Paul Hastings assisted Alitalia in one of the largest aircraft facility ever granted to the company. PK AirFinance, a subsidiary of GE Commercial Finance, acted as the lender in the deal. As part of the transaction, 28 mortgages were registered. The refinancing will last 8 years.
