Los Angeles – Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, represented Carey Watermark Investors 2 Incorporated, a non-traded real estate investment trust (REIT) focused on investing in lodging and lodging-related properties, in its acquisition of the Charlotte Marriott City Center. The transaction closed on June 1, 2017. This marks the sixth hotel transaction on which the Paul Hastings team has advised Carey Watermark Investors 2 in the last year.
