Paul Hastings Advises Wells Fargo Capital Finance in $2.2 Billion Acquisition of Novell by Attachmate

(April 27, 2011) - Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP, a leading global law firm, announced today that the firm advised Wells Fargo Capital Finance, part of Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE: WFC), in its role as a lender in the acquisition by global software company Attachmate Corporation of Novell, Inc. for $2.2 billion.

A portion of the purchase price was financed with a first lien term loan in the amount of $915 million provided by a number of financial institutions, including Wells Fargo Capital Finance.
