Paul Hastings Represents Rural/Metro As Warburg Pincus Acquisition Closes

Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP, a leading global law firm, announced today that the firm represented Rural/ Metro, an ambulance and emergency services company, on the closure of its acquisition by global private equity firm Warburg Pincus.

The deal is valued at $670 million and was announced March 28, 2011. Rural/Metro shareholders approved the terms of the merger agreement that will award shareholders with $17.25 per share of common stock in cash.
