Paul Hastings LLP advised Artemis Real Estate Partners in the formation of Artemis Real Estate Partners Fund IV, which represents Artemis’ newest real estate private equity fund in its flagship value-add real estate fund series.

Artemis Fund IV raised $2.2 billion in total capital commitments, exceeding its target. Together with the $1 billion of capital commitments recently raised for Artemis Healthcare Fund II and a $500 million core credit platform, Artemis has roughly $3 billion in capital commitments on hand to invest in real estate opportunities.

Capital commitments for Artemis Fund IV were secured from a diverse institutional investor base including numerous public and private pension funds, sovereign wealth funds,  endowments, foundations and family offices.

Paul Hastings also represented the fund in establishing a subscription line credit facility and in developing tax structuring for tax-exempt and non-U.S. investors.

Paul Hastings previously advised Artemis Real Estate Partners in the formation of Artemis Real Estate Partners Fund III, a real estate private equity fund that secured more than $1 billion of capital commitments to make value-add investments in commercial real estate.
