Oakley Capital acquires PRIMAVERA
London – Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, has advised Oakley Capital’s Fund III on its acquisition of PRIMAVERA, a Portuguese headquartered business software solutions company. The acquisition is a bolt-on to Oakley’s 2019 investment in Ekon, the Spanish provider of Enterprise Resource Planning Software.
Ekon and PRIMAVERA will create a new group under the name Grupo Primavera, which will be the largest independent provider of business software in Iberia. Grupo Primavera will also include five additional bolt-on acquisitions made over the last 12 months.
The Paul Hastings team included private equity partner Anu Balasubramanian, tax partner Arun Birla, litigation partner Pierre Kirch and finance partner Richard Kitchen, with associates Jamie Holdoway, David Prowse, Rebecca Denton, Harry Fathers, Abigail Hung, Alon Blitz, Andrew Lowndes and Silas Raggett assisting. Morais Letao acted for PRIMAVERA and Proskauer Rose acted for Ares, which provided debt financing.
