A Conversation with Former Commissioner & Acting Chair of the EEOC, Victoria A. Lipnic

Thursday, July 22 12:00 PM EDT to 1:00 PM EDT

Six months into the Biden Administration and the federal government has never been more focused on pay equity. President Biden recently signed an executive order to boost diversity and equity within the federal workforce. Vice President Kamala Harris campaigned on her promise to make the U.S. a leader in the fight for pay equity. And the appointment of Jenny Yang as OFCCP Director and Charlotte Burrows as Chair of the EEOC signal that all employers should expect heightened pay equity enforcement over the next several years. Not to be outdone, many state agencies similarly have increased investigation and enforcement efforts, leaving many employers to wonder, what is next?

Join the Paul Hastings Pay Equity Practice Group on July 22, 2021 for a moderated discussion with former Commissioner and Acting Chair of the EEOC, Victoria A. Lipnic, to discuss the future of pay equity investigations, enforcement and litigation. Ms. Lipnic will share observations accumulated during her time at the EEOC and her expectations of the Biden Administration’s likely enforcement priorities. Paul Hastings partners Felicia Davis and Emily Pidot will moderate the discussion and share their views on best practices for compliance, suggestions for successfully working with federal and state agencies, and methods for successful resolution.

We hope you can join us.
