Paul Hastings presents a discussion from the perspective of Nathaniel Edmonds, Litigation partner, about the latest trends in FCPA Enforcement and Anticorruption Compliance. A cocktail reception will follow.
Nat joined Paul Hastings in March 2013 after almost a decade at the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) where, as Assistant Chief of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) Unit of the Fraud Section, he supervised FCPA cases in the United States and oversaw the investigation and prosecution of companies, business executives, and others for violations of the FCPA. Nat also assisted in the drafting of A Resource Guide to the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, published in November 2012 – a detailed compilation by the DOJ and the Securities and Exchange Commission of information about the FCPA, its provisions, and enforcement.
