Goodpack's $720 million leveraged loan was recognized as Best Leveraged Financing of the Year by FinanceAsia. This was the first Asian buyout conducted solely with a US syndication, and required extensive regulatory and collateral considerations with respect to Singaporean securities requirements. The firm advised Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse, DBS, Goldman Sachs, KKR Capital, Macquarie, Mizuho, and Natixis as joint lead arrangers and bookrunners, in the financing for IBC Capital Limited’s acquisition of Goodpack Limited, a Singapore publicly-listed company and affiliate of, leading global investment firm, KKR. The financing consisted of a $520 million first lien term loan facility, a $85.5 million first lien revolving facility, a $13.5 million first lien stand-alone letter of credit facility, and a $170 million second lien term loan facility.

Leveraged Finance partners Michele Cohen, Michael Baker and Brett King led the Paul Hastings team, which also included associates Shekhar Kumar, Seth Chandler, Katherine Forer, and Natasha Chua Tan.
