Palo Alto – Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, advised Intel on its agreement to acquire Barefoot Networks, an emerging leader in Ethernet switch silicon and software for use in the data center. Barefoot’s investors include Google, Alibaba, Tencent and Goldman Sachs. The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2019.
The Paul Hastings team was led by partner William Choe and Danli Guo, and also included Elizabeth Razzano, Jane Song, Dan Stellenberg, Jeff Ii, Ziemowit Smulkowski and Amy Lawrence. Daniel Vaughn, Head of M&A Legal led the deal for Intel.
