The Greenbrier Companies Inc. Acquires Manufacturing Business of American Railcar Industries

Orange County, CA - The Greenbrier Companies, a leading international supplier of equipment and services to global freight transportation markets, has consummated its acquisition of the manufacturing business of American Railcar Industries from ITE Management.
The transaction, on which Paul Hastings advised The Greenbrier Companies, was announced on April 17th and includes two railcar manufacturing facilities in Arkansas. The approximately $410 million acquisition will broaden Greenbrier's American manufacturing footprint, as well as expand its product offerings.
