Paul Hastings Again Achieves Mansfield Rule Certification Plus
For the third consecutive year, Paul Hastings LLP earned Mansfield Rule Certification Plus status for achievement in diversity, which includes reaching diverse lawyer representation of at least 30% in firm leadership roles. This year’s recognition is for Mansfield Rule 5.0.

The Diversity Lab’s Mansfield Rule certification program is designed to increase diversity and inclusion in the field of law. Each year, qualifying law firms must meet increasingly stringent standards that promote diversity to achieve certification. Firms must demonstrate affirmative consideration of at least 30% women, underrepresented racial/ethnic groups, LGBTQ+ lawyers and lawyers with disabilities for a variety of leadership roles, including equity partnership, senior recruitment and client management positions. To receive “Plus” status, firms must achieve 30% representation in these roles.
Paul Hastings significantly exceeds Mansfield Certification Plus requirements across many of the criteria considered, with all senior leadership and other core management positions—including practice chairs, office chairs, compensation committee and policy committee—comprising a majority of diverse partners.
This is the latest affirmation of the firm’s success in cultivating a diverse and inclusive culture, both internally and throughout the communities the firm and its clients serve. Other recent accolades include:
