The transaction establishes a scaled, independent alternative to traditional publishing by bringing together Kobalt’s leading royalty platform, amra’s global digital collections capabilities and Primary Wave’s track record of maximizing the value of iconic music IP though strategic marketing and brand development. Kobalt will remain a separate, stand-alone entity, under the continued leadership of Laurent Hubert and its current management team.
