LINK Mobility strengthens position in U.S. with acquisition of Message Broadcast, LLC
London and California – Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, has advised LINK Mobility Group Holding ASA, the Oslo headquartered global mobile solutions and CPaaS provider, on its acquisition of Message Broadcast, LLC, a leading provider of mission critical customer engagement solutions to blue chip enterprise customers in the U.S.
The proprietary Message Broadcast CPaaS platform “EONS” (Emergency Outage Notification System) offers a single engagement platform to design, deploy, and manage customer interactions across all touchpoints with omnichannel orchestration, as well as API-driven communication for email, A2P SMS, and voice services.
LINK has quickly gained a solid foothold in the U.S. with a broad product offering and a large customer portfolio. The new U.S. position will accelerate LINK’s organic growth and provide a platform for further acquisitions in a fast-growing and fragmented market.
The Paul Hastings team included London-based Vice Chair of the global private equity practice Anu Balasubramanian, California-based private equity partner Alex S Kaufman, Chicago-based tax partner Jim Smulkowski, and associates Mark Cramer, Jenna Barba, Kami Laberge and Laura Yip. AGP Advokater AS (Norway) also advised LINK Mobility, while Kluge Advokatfirma AS (Norway) and Troutman Pepper Hamilton Sanders LLP (US) are acting for Message Broadcast.
The transaction values Message Broadcast at an enterprise value of USD 260 million and is expected to complete later this month.
In 2020, Paul Hastings advised Abry-backed LINK Mobility Group on its public listing on Oslo Børs, the Oslo Stock Exchange.
